The free House Galencourt update is now available for PC (via the Epic Games Store), the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 computer entertainment systems, the Xbox One family and the Xbox Series X | S-console systems are available and offers Two new cards, brand new game mode, the return of the popular arrow camera feature from the original Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, over 60 new customization options and much more.
Chivalry 2 was only the foundation for starting and was intentionally built so that it can be expanded, says Steve Piggott, CEO and Creative Director of the Torn Banner Studios. Today's update is just the first step in our ongoing commitment to double the size and scope of Chivalry 2 for free. We hope the players enjoy it!
The most important features of the House Galencourt update for Chivalry 2 are:
- Galenencourt (New Team Objective Card): The Masonic Army brutally besiest the great walled city of Galencourt, the seat of the Agathic Church. Players take the great fortress walls, blow up the vessels of the port and desecrate the relics and the grave of Feydride!
-
Courtyard (New Team Deathmatch / Free-For-All / Arena Card): An agreement to decide the battle around the courtyard through a duel of the champions is broken, and unsuspecting nobles are drawn into the slaughter.
-
Arena Mode: Players experience more competitive, smaller fighting with a focus on teamwork in this brand new game mode in which 3 compete against 3 teams against each other and the winner is determined by the first victory in 5 laps. The arena mode will be playable on special versions of 3 cards: Tournament Grounds, Fighting Pits and the new card Courtyard.
- Arrow camera: On multiple wish, archers can look forward to the return of the beloved Chivalry: Medieval Warfare feature, which attaches a camera to fired arrows and thus ensures truly cinematic action recordings.
- More than 60 new adaptation objects: The Weapon Chamber receives over 60 options for new weapons, armor, voice output, and more, with which players can adapt the appearance of their Agatha knight and Masonic Order teams. Highlights include the argon sword, the skull crusher dispute piston, the golden leaf shield and more!
