Some redditors with eagle eyes have discovered a potential date of publication for the Android version of Gwent. A Google Play Store list of the Witcher card game was discovered shortly before it was removed immediately. Before this happened, the Reddit users, betrayed_chino 'reached a link to a Polish announcement trail that states that the game will be available for Android on 24th March.
This would be after the upcoming World Masters tournament, which should take place from 14 to 15 March, suggesting that the intention was to announce and open advance registries around the tournament. However, the current official line of CD project Red is that the game will be available in the first quarter of this year.
This was repeated during a recent developer stream on February 4th. During the same video, they mentioned that they had fully ported the game on Android and that they had begun to optimize the game so that it ran on more than the high-end devices. They added that the game was in the schedule and that they would soon open up registries, but did not give up a specific date.
The Store list also mentioned an exclusive Imperial Golem-Avatar, which would receive player for pre-registration for the Android version of Gwent. The Avatar can be seen below in a picture that was obtained from the same reddit user who shared the trailer.
The IOS version of Gwent was already published in October 2019 and has been updated regularly since then. In December she received the enlargement Merchants of Ofn as well as various error corrections and stability optimizations. Of course, Android users have often asked when they can participate.
Gwent is currently on the AppStore this is a free game with in-app purchases. In the meantime, there was no official word at a given publication date for the Android version of the game after the first quarter 2020.
